Losing him was one of the hardest experiences of my life — but it also became my reason to create. My father taught me the value of hard work, creativity, and making people smile through what you do. I wanted to keep his spirit alive and carry on the family legacy that began generations ago. Our shop name, “Nappy’s,” comes from my grandfather’s nickname — a name he proudly embraced when others couldn’t pronounce his last name. It became a symbol of our family’s strength, humor, and resilience. Continuing that legacy means everything to me, and every design I create is a tribute to both of them.
